The goal of a Backgammon game is to shift your pieces around the Backgammon board and pull them off the game board quicker than your challenger who works just as hard to attempt the same buthowever they move in the opposite direction. Succeeding in a game of Backgammon needsrequires both strategy and luck. How far you can move your pieces is up to the numbers from tossing the dice, and the way you move your chips are determined by your overall playing techniques. Enthusiasts use a few tactics in the different stages of a match dependent on your positions and opponent’s.
The Running Game Plan
The goal of the Running Game tactic is to bring all your chips into your inner board and pull them off as fast as you can. This tactic concentrates on the pace of shifting your pieces with little or no time spent to hit or block your competitor’s chips. The ideal time to use this tactic is when you believe you can move your own pieces quicker than the opposing player does: when 1) you have a fewer chips on the board; 2) all your checkers have past your competitor’s checkers; or 3) the opponent doesn’t employ the hitting or blocking plan.
The Blocking Game Technique
The main aim of the blocking plan, by the title, is to block your competitor’s chips, temporarily, not worrying about moving your pieces quickly. Once you have established the blockage for the competitor’s movement with a few chips, you can move your other chips swiftly from the board. You really should also have a good strategy when to extract and move the checkers that you used for the blockade. The game becomes interesting when the opponent uses the same blocking strategy.
